Spring

I think that Spring is finally here to stay! We enjoyed the warm and sunny weather with some bike riding, bubble blowing, wagon riding, an out door snack and wildlife sighting!

Happy birthday Philip!

I can't believe how quickly the last 4 years have passed. Philip amazes us daily with all the things he can do: read, play soccer, count to 100 (well almost).

This year Philip celebrated over a few days since he got the stomach flu. He was a bit distressed because he didn't think that he would turn 4 until he had his cake. I assured him that it didn't work that way. And it is a good thing, being that he had to wait five days for his Oreo cookie cake.

Flying Kites

Spring is slowly arriving here and recently on a sunny afternoon we tried our hand at flying kites! The wind was very gusty and so the kites had a hard time staying up in the air. We lasted about ten minutes before we went home for some hot chocolate!

Lucy's 1st Birthday!

Today was Lucy's 1st birthday!

Trip to Reno

We are just getting back into the swing of regular life after a wonderful trip visiting the McNeil family in Reno, NV. Philip and Lucy loved the constant hum of activity and I am afraid that life at home just won't compare. It is a good thing that we will see them again so soon this summer.
