Clovermead Apiary

Our very first field trip was spent at the Clovermead Apiary. We took a picnic lunch, saw a hive demonstration, and Philip even got to hold a drone! It is a really neat place with lots of things for the kids to explore and see. I enjoyed all of the poultry, Philip liked the sandbox, and Lucy liked the cats until one tried out her stroller!

Nature Walk

Desperately needing to get out of the house yesterday, we found a new nature trail to explore. It was great to be outside on a lovely afternoon. We saw lots of flowers and tons of different bugs. We will definitely go back another day.

Morning trip to the park

This week we are having some high tempuratures and the only way to make it to the park is to go first thing in the morning.

Mother's Day Weekend

Spring

I think that Spring is finally here to stay! We enjoyed the warm and sunny weather with some bike riding, bubble blowing, wagon riding, an out door snack and wildlife sighting!

Happy birthday Philip!

I can't believe how quickly the last 4 years have passed. Philip amazes us daily with all the things he can do: read, play soccer, count to 100 (well almost).

This year Philip celebrated over a few days since he got the stomach flu. He was a bit distressed because he didn't think that he would turn 4 until he had his cake. I assured him that it didn't work that way. And it is a good thing, being that he had to wait five days for his Oreo cookie cake.
