Waiting for baby

We are enjoying the last bit of summer with nature walks, throwing rocks in the river, lego exhibits, and preparations for baby's arrival! 

Nana's Visit and Niagara Falls

We were so lucky to have Mom and Joe M. come for a visit. We enjoyed visiting a local historical house, and even made the little trek down to Niagara Falls! The highlights from there were riding the Maid of the Mist boat, visiting the butterfly conservatory and swimming in the hotel pool. It was great visiting time, and Mom really helped with those last-minute details to prepare for baby's arrival! Thanks Mom! 

Fun in Ottawa

At the end of July, we took a trip to Ottawa. It was a fun filled week picking blueberries, visiting the lake by Aggie and Maggie's cottages, eating lots of sweets, seeing lots of family, and playing in the backyard. We also made it out to the American Embassy and registered the children as US citizens. 

Definitely it was a great trip! 

More Summer Fun

This has definitely been one hot summer! So much of our time has been spent at the library, splash pads, wading pools, and at the Children's museum. We have also been enjoying lots of bbq with roasted marshmallows for dessert, berry picking, and bike riding with no training wheels! 

NYC!

After our time in PA, we headed into "the Big Apple" to visit Lillian. We sure did feel like country bumpkins! It was great to see where Lillian and Dan have been living. But the best part was getting to meet Xavier before we left town!
