Fun with the Sands

We went to Cleveland over the long weekend to visit the Sand family and had tons of fun!

Sensory Hike

Another field trip and this time to the local conservation area.

Fall Happenings

These are just a few random shots from the last month.

 Modeling their new knit bag

 Checking out the fire engine

 Making old crayons new again

And more modeling

Field Trip to the Pioneer Villiage

In September, we joined our local homschooling kindergartners and went to visit the Pioneer Village. The weather was pefect, the kids were nice and we had a really nice day!

Busted

I think that these pictures speak for themselves!

The Western Fair

This week, the local fair is taking place and we were able to go last Saturday.

The kids looked great in their western wear and received lots of compliments.

Philip liked the electric tractor.

And the rope swing!

This is just as Lucy stepped into a whole which she didn't care for at all.

The horse simulator.

Lucy wasn't sure about the noisy sheep during their 4-H competition.

And after the milking demonstration, the kids got to feed the baby calf.

More Summertime Fun!

To end off our great summer, we took a trip to Ottawa. We had a great time visiting with family and friends, and visiting both new and old places.

Here we went to a local fair with lots of rides, animals and even a demolition derby!

We spent a lovely afternoon at a park complete with its life-sized train engine.

Crafts and park time with our dear friends Nicky and Angela.

A fun afternoon at the petting zoo with Danika and Luke.

Summer is not complete without sparklers.

And a trip to Ottawa is never complete without seeing Tato.
